We believe that changing the way we produce and distribute food is fundamental to solving the world’s most pressing social and ecological problems.
Blacklands Organics is a 10 acre farm in south oxfordshire set up and run by Jamie and Mary Carr in 2016. We are certified organic by the soil association. See what's happening on the farm by following us on Instagram or Facebook @blacklandsorganics
Our aim is to provide our veg to you all year round, although there may be times of year when we cannot supply everything, in which case we will use our trusted suppliers and buy in veg. It will always be organic, seasonal and grown in the UK. We will also make it clear when we have bought in.
You can have a weekly, fortnightly or one-off subscription to a box, cancel anytime or pause for a bit - get in touch to arrange a pause.
Keep your eye out for extras, available to top up with in your account. We offer the produce we have lots of week by week so what we have changes through the seasons.
We can offer up to two exclusions of produce per box, we can't say what we will replace with but we can say it will be delicious. If you'd like to exclude anything please get in touch.
We pay our suppliers at least 50% of the retail value for any products we buy in, and when dealing with wholesalers, we check to make sure they pay fair prices to their growers.
Local food supports local economies. Food grown in the local community supports local jobs and encourages variety in our diets. It also requires less transportation, so it's fresher and has a smaller environmental footprint.
